Ostrich Riding ...olympics

The olympics is coming next week but I don't have any expectation or excitement at all. Only two competitiions interest me. One is the "ostrich riding". People don't know why this newly-developed sport would suddenly become so popular and attract so many "little angel" audiences, ha .. like me. It's already replaced the traditional equestrian to be one of the 36 official games. There's really lots of fun watching the "athlete" riding an ostrich to show a series of "natural movements", jumping & running. The judgement is similiar to equestrian also. Though it's a serious competition and so are the althetes' face, sometimes are those well-edited camera shots can hold my interest and make me burst into laughter, well ... such as slow motions of ostrich's running, close-ups of its three-toed feet or expressions on its faces (always open its mouth) ... or a bunch of feathers flying in the air and block a part of the camera after a perfect "jump" ... ... "Group Fighting" is my another choice. Twelve people against twelve people in a 100 x 80 meter square. Each althete wears a "sensor" suit. They can choose their weapon freely ... ... well .... I shouldn't say it's my favourite, my best friend love to watch and so I would watch at times... I personally don't have any expectatipon at all ...

未來世界的某一日... ... 駝鳥騎術比賽
奧運會下星期來臨，但我一點期待和亢奮的感覺也沒有。基本上我只對兩個項目感興趣。其一是「駝鳥騎術」。人們不知道這項新興運動怎會變得如此受歡迎，吸引那麼多像我一樣的「小天使」階層觀眾。它已經取代了傳統馬術成為環球奧運會的36個主項目之一。看著一班運動員騎著駝鳥，展示一系列的「自然」動作、跳躍和跑步實在很有趣。「駝鳥騎術」的評審準則也跟傳統馬術差不多。雖然它是一項嚴肅的比賽，看看運動員的臉孔便知，但很多時候是那些經過精心剪輯的即場比賽鏡頭帶給我無窮的趣味，甚至令我捧腹大笑。例如駝鳥奔走的慢鏡頭、牠那對「三指腳」和臉上表情 (經常張開口) 的近鏡，或者是經過一個「完美」跳躍之後，一束羽毛飄到空中，遮蔽了部份的鏡頭 ... 等等。另外的選擇就是「群體博擊」比賽。每隊十二個人，兩隊在一個100 x 80米的範圍內互相對賽。每位運動員都穿上全套的「感應衣」。他們可以自由選擇武器 ... 呀 ... 我不能說這是我的喜好，不過是一位最好的朋友喜歡看，所以偶然自己也看看 .... 我個人實在沒有甚麼期望 ....
